The safety of our guests and associates is a top priority. As guidance regarding face coverings and vaccination verification varies by local jurisdiction and may change, guests should review public information websites for the most up-to-date guidance for your destination, as well as the hotel-specific sections below and US and Canada Travel Advisories | Marriott Bonvoy™ before traveling. Unless it is required by local law or order, fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel. We ask that all unvaccinated guests continue to wear face coverings and practice social distancing when they are in public spaces inside the hotel.
  • Signage has been added throughout the hotel to remind guests to maintain social distancing, as well as that face masks are mandatory in all public spaces of the hotel.
  • Partitions have been installed at the front desk and at the food and beverage service lines.
  • There are several hand sanitizing stations throughout the hotel for your use.
  • The use of mobile capabilities via the Marriott Bonvoy app is encouraged for a contactless experience.  Mobile check-in, mobile key, service requests, and mobile dining orders delivered right to your door, can all be managed through the app.
  • For the safety of our guests and associates, the main hotel doors are key card access only. We ask that you register all guests and visitors at the front desk upon check-in or throughout your stay, as we are only allowing access to the building to registered guests of the hotel. We have staff in the lobby 24 hours a day to assist as needed.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, several enhancements to our cleaning protocols have been made throughout the property and in the guest rooms. Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to a guest arrival. During the stay, daily housekeeping is not automatic and can be requested based on preferences. A refresh can also be provided upon request. Please note the following:


  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Associates are required to wear PPE (i.e. face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities that they are performing. Guests are required to wear personal face coverings in all indoor public areas throughout the hotel and in line with guidelines from local health authorities.

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. During your stay, we will not provide housekeeping automatically every day. If you wish to receive daily housekeeping refresh service, please let our guest services team know. We will be happy to schedule service according to your preferences. Please note that if you are staying with us a bit longer, we will automatically clean your guest room after every 6th night.

As of September 20th, businesses within the province of Alberta have the option to participate in the Restrictions Exemption Program, which requires proof of vaccination or negative rapid test results to continue operating without restrictions (aside from indoor masking and social distancing).  We have implemented processes on property to follow this program so that our guests are able make full use of our amenities.  Please plan accordingly and be prepared to provide the necessary documentation while you are at the hotel. 

We are committed to providing amenities while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing the capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

  • Parking: Please note that we currently are offering self-parking only at the hotel. Upon arrival, please pull into the driveway and temporarily park to check-in and register your car. The underground parking is directly connected to the hotel and there is an elevator and stairs to access the main hotel lobby. EXTRA BONUS: If you are staying on a Friday or Saturday night, parking is complimentary! Please follow the same process as noted above to register your car.
  • Fitness Floor/Pool: The Fitness Centre is open every day of the week for 24 hours daily. Towels and a water bottle refill station are available for your use. If you are looking to get outside for some fresh air, maps of the local running, walking and biking paths are available at the front desk. The Indoor Pool/Hot Tub are available every day of the week from 6:00am - midnight. Please note that from 10:00pm - midnight, it is available for adult swim only. Dry saunas and towels are available in the locker rooms. 
  • Elite Pantry: Currently open.

Restaurant Hours and Operations: 


Located at the center of the lobby, our restaurant, The Shoe & Canoe Public House is open 7 days a week from 7:00 am - 1:00pm for Breakfast/Brunch and 4:00pm-10:00pm for Dinner.


EXCITING NEWS: We have a new patio, Stargazer by Shoe & Canoe, that opened on July 1st and we look forward to hosting you on this unique space. Stargazer is located on the 2nd Floor (accessible through the +15) and it will be operating from 4:00pm - 10:00pm on Thursday and Friday, weather permitting.


We are also offering our Shoe & Canoe Lite menu, which is available to order directly to your room or to-go. The food menu is available 24 hours a day every day of the week and alcoholic beverages are available from 10:00am to 2:00am daily. Mobile Dining is available through the Marriott Bonvoy app should you choose to order take-out style to your room.
