Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations, practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates), and wearing face coverings whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. Marriott has also created the Global Cleanliness Council to tackle the realities of the COVID-19 pandemic at the hotel level and develop the next level of global hospitality cleanliness standards, norms and behaviors that are designed to minimize risk and enhance safety for consumers and hotel employees.

At The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai, we take the standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously to ensure that our hotel remains a hygienic environment for our guests and our hotel employees. Our leadership team has been closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) statements regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and we are following the guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments.

We understand your concern and recognize that the COVID-19 virus has required all of us to be more thoughtful as we go through our daily activities. We would like to assure you that providing a clean environment at the hotel is our utmost priority.

SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES & CONTACTLESS EXPERIENCE

 

  • Introduced measures to minimize contact and reinforce social distancing.
  • Signage throughout our hotel to remind guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits and seating capacities reductions in our restaurants in compliance with local and state mandates, and partitions installed at front desks.
  • Mobile check-in and key

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

 

  • We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in public areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and room keys as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.
  • Staff members wear face masks and gloves based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. Guests are welcome to wear personal face coverings.
  • Implemented guidelines on chemicals and equipment to be used that are effective against viruses.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting protocols are in place to sanitize rooms after guests depart and before next guest arrives.
  • Increased frequency of cleaning in the ‘Back of House', where hotel employees work behind the scenes.
  • Increased associate health, safety and knowledge efforts, including hand hygiene protocols and specific COVID-19 related trainings.


Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. We will provide housekeeping cleaning services after your third night with us and while you are away from the room. If you'd like to receive additional daily cleaning, simply let our team know and we will gladly take care of it.
We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

Fitness Center: Open, face masks required at all times
Spa: Open, reservation required.
Private Beach: Open
Appropriate measures for cleanliness and social distancing are being followed as per the local guidelines and authorities to ensure that our restaurants and lounges provide a safe and comfortable environment for your dining experience.
