The safety of our guests and associates is a top priority. As guidance regarding face coverings and vaccination verification varies by local jurisdiction and may change, guests should review public information websites for the most up-to-date guidance for your destination, as well as the hotel-specific sections below and US and Canada Travel Advisories | Marriott Bonvoy™ before traveling. Unless it is required by local law or order, fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel. We ask that all unvaccinated guests continue to wear face coverings and practice social distancing when they are in public spaces inside the hotel.

With the release of the vaccine earlier this year we are excited to see so many of our guests returning. Both leisure travel and meetings have come back at an unexpected record pace throughout the travel industry, particularly in the Southeast.

As resorts, hotels, cruise lines and most other businesses are reopening and with the recent increase in Covid-19 cases, we are experiencing shortages in both labor and supplies throughout the region and service industry.

As our Ladies and Gentlemen work to meet both service and supply demands you may notice the following:

 

  • Certain items may not be available on the menu in our restaurants or at events due to lack of availability. We will work to substitute these items based on what is available.
  • Your amenities such as soap, shampoo, and shower gel may consist of multiple brands.
  • Pool & bath towels may be limited as we continue to find new suppliers.
  • Housekeeping service may be limited to one "Tidy Only" service each day during your stay and currently daily turndown service is not being provided.
  • Limited bike availability due to decreased supply in the market.
  • Other businesses such as restaurants on the island may have limited availability; we highly recommend you book your reservations in advance.


Please know that our Ladies and Gentlemen and leadership team are committed to providing you with The Ritz-Carlton service you have come to expect. We appreciate your patience as we work through these unprecedented supply challenges.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.

Electrostatic Spraying: We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.


Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Consistent with the most recent CDC guidance, fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel, unless required by local law. We ask that unvaccinated guests continue to wear face coverings and practice social distancing when they are in public spaces inside the hotel.


Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each guest. We have enhanced our protocol around cleanliness such as using hospital grade disinfectants in our guestrooms. We will provide a Daily Tidy Service while you are away from your guestroom. A Daily Tidy Service includes: disinfect high-touch surfaces, remake your beds, trash removal and terry and amenities replenishment.

 

Many guests have requested that we limit entry into their guest rooms by opting out of  Daily Housekeeping during their stay, please let us know if this is your preference. 

 

Marriott BONVOY members who wish to forgo the Daily Tidy Service will be rewarded 5,000 Bonus Points per day to their account.  To qualify for the Bonus points, Daily Tidy Service must be bypassed for the duration of your stay.

A TOTALLY NEW HOTEL: All 446 Rooms and Suites are fully renovated with artful color palates, stylish and comfortable coastal- style furnishing and a larger living areas that cater to the needs of the modern traveler. 


AMENITIES: We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations. Here are some highlights:

 

  • BEACH: All 13 miles Amelia Island beaches are open for your enjoyment. Resort beach service is available daily from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Two chairs and an umbrella are included in the Resort Fee
  • POOL: The pool and hot tub are open from 6 am until 6 pm. Alcoholic beverages are currently prohibited on the beach by ordinance.  The indoor pool is open from 6 am until 6 pm. Masks are required for all guests not fully vaccinated in the indoor pool area,
  • CABANAS: Poolside and Luxury cabanas are available for daily rental, with included sodas, waters and snacks along with television, fan and lounge area. Touch 1087 for information and reservations.
  • GOLF: Golf is available daily at the resort. Call The Concierge for details.
  • TENNIS: Tennis is available daily at the resort. Private lessons are available by advance appointment.
  • SPA & SALON: The Ritz-Carlton Spa and Salons are open daily for services including massage, manicure/pedicure, salon and haircare, as well as facility access to lounges, luxury retail, and adult-exclusive spa pool. 
  • FITNESS CENTER: The Fitness Center is open 24-hours daily and accessible by room key. Fitness Classes are scheduled daily and one class per day is included in the Resort Fee.
  • RETAIL SHOPS: Retail boutiques - including Lilly Pulitzer and Southern Tide - are open daily. 
  • CLUB LEVEL: Enjoy exclusive access to the Club Lounge, with personalized concierge services, daily culinary presentations, as well as a sommelier's selection of wines, local beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.   • RITZ KIDS: The Ritz Kids program is available daily with full-day and half-day classes. Programing is written by resort Naturalist with content from Cousteau Ambassadors of the Sea, an exclusive Ritz-Carlton partnership.
  • SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES: A variety of seasonal activities are available during your stay, including the Shell & Shark Tooth Hunt, Naturalist Exploration Walks, Bicycle Tours, and Ritz Kids crafts.  Area excursions, including the Eco-Kayak Waterway Tours and Fishing Charters are also available through our Resort Concierge. COAST: Working directly with area farms and boat captains, Coast presents a fresh menu reflecting the tastes of our region. Enjoy indoor seating or terrace dining daily for breakfast from 7 a.m., lunch from 11:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., or dinner beginning at 5 p.m. We recommend advance reservations for guests to reduce waiting during peak periods. NOW OPEN! TIDEWATER GRILL: Born from the relaxed spirit of days spent on the island's waterways, the stylish new Tidewater Grill presents guests with an instantly-familiar, casual atmosphere for lunch, dinner, and drinks. Featuring a menu of American grill classics, coastal favorites, and a celebrated collection of regionally brewed beers, Tidewater Grill is the ideal place to trade stories of a day on the water - the best of times with the best of friends. Open 5 pm - 11 pm, Wednesday - Friday and 12 pm to 11 pm Saturday - Sunday.
 

INTRODUCING FIRST DROP ESPRESSO & BREW BAR: Inspired by the culinary traditions of resort's celebrated restaurants, First Drop invites guests to savor an authentic artisanal beverage experience. Featuring premium roasted coffee, this new counter-service option also offers fresh juices, and handcrafted milkshakes and smoothies, as well as carry-away selections and select small bites including breakfast and lunch sandwiches, salads, pastries, candy, and snacks. Open daily from 7 am - 7 pm.

COQUINA: Set to a backdrop of ocean breezes, Coquina embraces the dynamic flavors inspired by the island's time as a Spanish territory. Offering al-fresco dining and signature views, Coquina is open daily for lunch and cocktails from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.  Coquina will offer dinner until 9 p.m. Thursdays - Saturdays, weather permitting.
 

SALT: Experience fine dining on the water's edge in our AAA Five-Diamond signature restaurant. Available for dinner Wednesdays - Sunday. Advance reservations are required. Sophisticated casual attire required. Please touch 1087 for dining reservations or more information.
 

THE LOBBY BAR: Inspired by bourbon legends, the Lobby Bar features a curated list of small-batch spirits and classic cocktails presented by our mixologists, as well as freshly prepared sushi, sashimi and charcuterie. Open daily from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. 
 

POOLSIDE: Soaking in the sun? Our Ladies and Gentlemen from Coquina are happy to assist with poolside dining and cocktail service.   
 

IN-ROOM DINING: Our culinary team is pleased to deliver your favorites through in-room dining available from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m.
