Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations and wearing a face covering - which is required - whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding. We remind you also to practice social distancing, staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates.
Signage throughout our hotels to remind guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits and seating capacities reductions in our restaurants in compliance with local and state mandates, and partitions installed at front desks and food and beverage service lines.

Some facilities including restaurants may have reduced capacity or be temporarily unavailable. Please download our Resort Activity Guide and view the nightly guest letters for timely updates to operations. In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:

Enhanced Public Space Cleaning. We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.

Electrostatic Spraying. We're utilizing enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants, to support our already rigorous cleanliness protocols.

Masks. All guests age two and older are required to wear a face covering / mask in all indoor public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, meeting space, public restrooms, food & beverage venues, fitness center, retail stores, and spas at all Marriott International hotels in North America. Guests may remove face masks while seated to dine. All areas of Nassau County, Florida including Amelia Island and downtown Fernandina Beach, require face masks in public areas.
Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each guest. We will continue to provide housekeeping services daily while you are away from the room. If you have any specific housekeeping preferences or would like to not receive housekeeping service during your stay, please contact guest services at any time.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing.

GUESTROOM RENOVATIONS: Beginning September 2020 and continuing through late Spring 2021, the resort will undergo project work to launch newly designed guestrooms and amenities. During this time, no interruption to facilities or services is anticipated; however, guest access to certain floors may be unavailable and to minimize any disturbance.   

As of January 2021, all guest reservations will be confirmed in our newly designed guestrooms and suites. 

HOUSEKEEPING: Housekeeping services will be offered once daily per room. Guests may elect to forgo daily housekeeping service. Marriott Bonvoy members who forgo housekeeping will receive a 10,000 points per day deposit in your account on behalf of the resort.

BEACH: Amelia Island beaches are open for your enjoyment daily from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. We ask that you kindly allow our Ladies and Gentlemen to assist you in placing beach chairs and umbrellas along the shore to better protect our native sand dunes and to ensure appropriate distancing for all of our resort guests. Alcoholic beverages are currently prohibited on the beach by ordinance. 

POOLS: Our resort pool, adults-only spa pool, and children's splash area are open daily from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m.  Our Ladies and Gentlemen are happy to assist in finding seating along the terraced pool area to ensure social distancing or arrange a private cabana rental during their stay. Poolside dining - including entrees, appetizers, drinks, and cocktails - is available daily. Seating restrictions and indoor mask requirements will apply for guests at the indoor pool. 

CABANAS: Poolside cabanas are available for daily rental, with included sodas, waters (sparkling/regular), and snacks along with television, fan and lounge area.

GOLF: Golf is available daily at the resort. Non-family members are kindly asked to observe one player per cart. 

TENNIS: Tennis is available daily at the resort. Private lessons are available by advance appointment.

SPA & SALON: The Ritz-Carlton Spa and Salons are open daily for services including massage, manicure/pedicure, salon and haircare, as well as facility access to lounges, luxury retail, and adult-exclusive spa pool. 

FITNESS CENTER: The Fitness Center is open 24-hours daily.  

RETAIL SHOPS: Retail boutiques - including Lilly Pulitzer and Southern Tide - are open daily. 

CLUB LEVEL: Enjoy exclusive access to the Club Lounge, with personalized concierge services, daily culinary presentations, as well as a sommelier's selection of wines, local beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages. Face masks are required for all guests except when seated to dine. Seasonal offerings, such as Club Beach and Kids Night Out, may be limited or unavailable. RITZ KIDS: The Ritz Kids program will resume operation beginning Memorial Day Weekend 2021. In the interim, please see the Resort Activity Guide for daily activities for children and families, including our Shell & Shark Tooth Hunt and Ritz Kids Crafts. 

SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES: A variety of seasonal activities are available during your stay, including the Shell & Shark Tooth Hunt, Naturalist Exploration Walks, Bicycle Tours, and Ritz Kids crafts.  Area excursions, including the Eco-Kayak Waterway Tours, Private Boat, and Fishing Charters are also available through our Resort Concierge. RESTAURANTS AND DINING: Please note that the resort's restaurant service and indoor seating capacities have been modified to comply with social distancing guidelines. 

COAST: Working directly with area farms and boat captains, Coast presents a fresh menu reflecting the tastes of our region. Enjoy indoor seating or terrace dining daily for breakfast from 7 a.m., lunch from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m., or dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. We recommend advance reservations for guests to reduce waiting during peak periods. COQUINA: Set to a backdrop of ocean breezes, Coquina embraces the dynamic flavors inspired by the island's time as a Spanish territory. Offering al-fresco dining and signature views, Coquina is open daily for lunch and cocktails from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.  Coquina will be offer for dinner until 9 p.m. Thursdays - Saturdays. 


SALT: Experience fine dining on the water's edge in our AAA Five-Diamond signature restaurant. Available for dinner for resort guests on Thursdays - Saturdays. Advance reservations are required. Please dial 1087 for dining reservations or more information.


LOBBY BAR: Inspired by bourbon legends, the Lobby Bar features a curated list of small-batch spirits and classic cocktails presented by our mixologists, as well as freshly prepared sushi, sashimi and charcuterie. Open daily from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. 


POOLSIDE: Soaking in the sun? Our Ladies and Gentlemen are happy to assist with poolside dining and cocktail service. Please see any member of our staff to order entrees, appetizers or drinks.  


AT YOUR SERVICE: Our culinary team is pleased to deliver your favorites through in-room dining available from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. as well as carry-away dining from Coast to enjoy throughout the resort. 


TIDEWATER GRILL: OPENING LATE SPRING 2021  Born from the relaxed spirit of days spent on the island's waterways, the stylish new Tidewater Grill presents guests with an instantly-familiar, casual atmosphere for lunch, dinner, and drinks. Featuring a menu of American grill classics, coastal favorites, and a celebrated collection of regionally brewed beers, Tidewater Grill is the ideal place to trade stories of a day on the water - the best of times with the best of friends.


FIRST DROP ESPRESSO & BREW BAR: OPENING LATE SPRING 2021  Inspired by the culinary traditions of resort's celebrated restaurants, First Drop invites guests to savor an authentic artisanal beverage experience. Featuring locally roasted coffee, this new counter-service option also offers fresh juices, and handcrafted milkshakes and smoothies, as well as carry-away selections and select small bites including breakfast and lunch sandwiches, salads, pastries, candy, and snacks.
