Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations and wearing a face covering - which is required - whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding. We remind you also to practice social distancing, staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates

Guests at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas will notice a number of additions to our cleaning regimen designed to set an even higher standard of cleanliness.


  • Signage throughout our resort to remind guests to maintain social distancing. Furniture is re-arranged to allow more space for distancing.  
  • Seating capacities in our restaurants are reduced in compliance with local government mandates. 
  • Partitions installed at front desks, concierge and hostess stands to provide an extra level of precaution. 
  • Mobile check-in and key
  • Service requests delivered right to your door via the Marriott Bonvoy mobile app.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. 


  • Our public spaces, surfaces are thoroughly treated with hospital-grade disinfectants with increased frequency.  
  • Hand sanitizing stations are available at the entrance of hotel, near the front desk, elevator banks, fitness center, spa, meeting spaces, pools and beach. 
  • In addition to temperature checks at the start of each shift, staff members will wear face coverings based on the activities they are performing and based on the direction by the local government. 
  • It is required to wear personal face coverings in all indoor public areas.  Masks may be removed once seated in the restaurant.  
  • Masks and gloves are available for all guests upon request at the front desk.


Housekeeping services

Services will be available upon request.  At check in each guest will advise how often they would like to receive housekeeping services.  Time of service will be arranged so no one is in the room while the attendant is cleaning.  Guests also have the option to decline housekeeping services. 

Our guest rooms, all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectants.   We will also provide hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes in each room for guests' personal use.  All paper materials including magazines have been removed from all areas.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:

  • Fitness Center: Open daily from 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Fitness center attendant will be present while open to sanitize and disinfect areas and machines after each use. Maximum of 20 people allowed. Masks required at all times. All equipment has been spread properly to allow social distancing. Group fitness classes limited capacity to allow for social distancing.
  • The Ritz-Carlton Spa: Open daily from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Masks required when entering the spa, may be removed once the treatment starts.  For manicures and pedicures a partition is present to reduce risk for guests and associates. Spa treatment areas including tables, chairs or other treatment areas and equipment are to be sanitized after every guest. 
  • Beach and Pools: Open for full use including lounging and swimming. There are limited chairs available as we encourage our guests to respect social distancing guidelines. Pool cabanas are available for rent.  
  • The Ritz-Carlton Club® Lounge: Open daily from 8:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. with food presentations throughout the day. Masks are required for Club Lounge entry.  
  • 32 POINTS: The new boutique shopping experience is available daily from 10:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. 
  • Watersports: Available daily at the beach from 9:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.
  • Ritz-Kids: Unfortunately, Ritz Kids Club is currently closed. Kids packages available upon request. Please, contact our concierge for more detailed information.

Due to local government guidelines all restaurants will operate at 50% capacity and mandates the use of only disposable plates and utensils until further notice. Masks are required when entering and exiting the restaurant and may be removed once seated. Restaurant floor plans have been reconfigured to practice social distancing, 6 ft. apart, and no more than 6 people per table. QR codes are available to download menus. Reservations are encouraged.

  • Alloro: Open for breakfast daily, 7:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M and for dinner daily, 5:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. Bar is open until 11:00 P.M.
  • Sails: Open for lunch daily 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
  • Coconut Cove: Open for lunch daily 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and dinner from 5:30 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
  • In Room Dining: Available daily from 7:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. Breakfast available from 7:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Lunch is available from 11:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Dinner is available from 5:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Contactless delivery only at this time.
