Providing a safer environment for our guests and associates is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations and wearing a face covering - which is required - whenever you're in public areas of the hotel. We do appreciate your support and understanding. We remind you also to practice social distancing, staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests and hotel associates.

We are delighted to have the opportunity to welcome you to The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch. It is our pleasure to provide you with the services and amenities as we are presently able and appreciate your understanding and compliance as we adhere to our local guidelines during our reopening phases. The details below outline recent changes made to our property operations and services, as they are currently offered.

Eagle County COVID Guidelines


Per the Eagle County and the State of Colorado mandate: Effective February 18th, 2021, all persons shall wear face coverings when entering and, at all times, while inside the areas of a business which is open to the public. All restaurants and dining outlets are limited to 50% capacity. Guests may remove their face coverings when dining at their distanced table. 


  • Maintain 6 feet of physical distance
  • Face coverings are required both indoors and outdoors.
  • Wash your hands often
  • Cover your face in public
  • Stay home when you are sick
  • Get tested immediately if you have symptoms

Please note that face coverings are also required while enjoying the Fitness Center.

Signage is displayed throughout our resort to remind guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits and seating capacities reductions in our restaurants in compliance with local and state mandates, and partitions installed at front desks and food and beverage service lines.

In keeping with Marriott's Commitment to Clean, we have notice made several enhancements to our cleaning practices throughout our property and in guest rooms. These include:


  • Enhanced Public Space Cleaning: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms, elevators, and escalators as well as provided more hand sanitizing stations.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Staff members will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities. Guests are required to wear personal face coverings while enjoying all indoor public areas.
  • Room Amenities: Disinfectant wipes are available in the room for every arriving guest as well as upon request.
  • Housekeeping Service:
    • Room Cleaning - Regular housekeeping services are currently being offered between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Guests must be vacated from their rooms to receive housekeeping services. Should you elect to schedule your services on a less frequent basis, we will gladly respect your privacy in this manner. Turn-down services are provided upon request only. Please speak with our Ladies and Gentlemen to communicate additional housekeeping requests and we will be happy to assist you.
    • Laundry Services - Current guidelines prohibit us form offering laundry services. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each guest. We will continue to provide housekeeping services daily while you are away from the room. If you have any specific housekeeping preferences or would like to not receive housekeeping service during your stay, please contact guest services at any time.

We are committed to making the amenities and services at our property available to you while complying with local and state regulations, including guidance on reducing capacity in public spaces and reinforcing social distancing. The modifications we have made include:


  • Fitness Center: The Fitness Center is available to guests from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., daily, with appropriate social distancing measures in place. Face coverings are required.
  • The Ritz-Carlton Spa & Boutique: The Spa is open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Masks are required during all services. All facials are limited to 50 minutes. Please note the grotto, steam rooms, saunas, and whirlpools are temporarily closed.
  • Pool: The pool and outdoor hot tubs are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., daily, with appropriate social distancing measures in place. Capacity is limited and access is offered on a first come, first served basis.
  • Mountain Recreation: A selection of fitness classes are available weekly. Days and times vary for outdoor fitness classes vary. Reservations are required. Please check with the concierge regarding current dates and times.
  • Club Lounge: Closed until winter of the 2021/2022 season.
